Fr Paschal Uche
My name is Fr Paschal Uche and for the past four years I have had the great joy of being a Catholic priest. I currently serve as the assistant priest in St Thomas of Canterbury Grays. My great passions are sharing the Gospel, being with friends, and family, and playing music and football. This year I have had the great pleasure of going through the holy doors of Rome for the Jubilee year.
A chance to practice my very limited Italian!

Claire Fernandes
Claire is passionate about helping children and families grow in relationship with God. She works for CELEBRATE Trust, where she is the Children and Family Lead involved in running events, helping families parent for faith and producing family resources. She also lectures in teacher training at St Mary's University, Twickenham and serves as a trustee for Mark 10 Mission, a prayer and liturgy provider for Catholic schools whose aim is to help children encounter Jesus.A chance to practice my very limited Italian!

Sr Jackie Brain
I belong to the Congregation of the Saviour and the Blessed Virgin. My background is in education. I came to Weymouth 12 years ago and have been involved in various activities in the Parish of Our Lady Star of the Sea, especially catechetics.

Alice Hall
Alice Hall has served in full time ministry with Sion Catholic Community for Evangelism for 30 years. She has a a Masters in Theology from the Franciscan University of Steubenville in America which has enabled her as a formator and in Christian discipleship. Alice is dedicated to helping Christians understand who they are in Jesus, and to fully live in the freedom He promises. She has a passion for unity in the Body of Christ, worship and is an inspired and engaging speaker!

Carol Lawrence
Carol was a vicar’s wife in the Church of England for over 30 years, during which time - and influenced by the Renewal movement - she and her husband Peter grew in the experience of God’s work in people’s lives through prayer. After Peter’s death, Carol joined the community at The Harnhill Centre for Christian Healing where she led the Prayer Team, serving hundreds of guests on retreat over 8 years. She now lives in Bournemouth and leads prayer ministry at Lovechurch St Swithun’s. She has 3 daughters and enjoys cycling and swimming.

Deacon Nick Johnson
Nick Johnson was ordained to the permanent Diaconate in 2010 and has served since then as a parish deacon at St. Mary's, Poole. He was appointed Vice Director of the Diaconate by Bishop Mark in December 2021. Nick's professional life was in social work.
